Menopause — The Journey of Creation
A space for self-discovery, expression and transformation through creativity
7 DAYS OF CREATIVITY & MENOPAUSE RETREAT IN ALJEZUR, PORTUGAL
Immerse yourself in this 7-day journey of profound self-knowledge and connection through Art and Creativity. This is an opportunity to restore, restart, and allow yourself to live in harmony with your body and mind, in an environment of care, listening, and sharing.
Retreat Overview
Menopause — The Journey of Creation was created as a space for women to explore menopause as a time of transformation, self-discovery, and new possibilities.
Through art, creativity, movement, reflection, and meaningful connection, participants will be invited to explore the physical, emotional, and mental changes that accompany this phase of life, while reconnecting with their bodies, their inner selves, and their creative expression.
Rather than seeing menopause only as an ending, this retreat invites women to experience it as a new chapter — a time to pause, reflect, let go of what no longer serves them, and create space for what wants to emerge.
The retreat offers a supportive and inspiring environment where each woman can explore her own journey, express herself freely, and discover new ways of connecting with herself and with others.
Who the retreat is for
More than a retreat, this is an opportunity for transformation, self-discovery, creative expression, and reconnection.
Created especially for women experiencing perimenopause or menopause, this retreat offers a welcoming and inspiring space to explore this important phase of life through creativity, art, movement, reflection, and connection.
It is for women who are curious to better understand themselves, embrace change, reconnect with their bodies and inner selves, and explore new possibilities for the chapter ahead.

Cuisine
Nourishing, Healthy Cuisine
Food is an important part of feeling well, especially during menopause. Throughout the retreat, you will enjoy fresh, nutritious and balanced meals designed to nourish the body, support digestion, and provide sustained energy.
Our cuisine focuses on whole grains, fibre-rich foods, vegetables, lean meats, eggs and other quality sources of protein, combined with fresh, seasonal ingredients and healthy fats. This is not a vegetarian menu, but rather a varied and wholesome approach to eating, with an emphasis on natural, nutritious and minimally processed foods. Vegetarian options will also be available for those who are vegetarian or rather eat vegetarian food.
Lunch will include fresh salads alongside a balanced selection of proteins, whole grains and vegetables. In the evening, meals will be lighter and easy to digest, with soups, nourishing broths, whole-grain rice and gently cooked vegetables.
Throughout the day, you will also be offered refreshing homemade lemonades and a selection of herbal teas traditionally used to support digestion and relaxation.
Our aim is simple: to offer food that is delicious, nourishing and satisfying, while giving your body the support it needs to feel its best throughout the retreat.
Three wholesome meals will be served each day — breakfast, lunch and dinner.
On the Free Day, a nourishing breakfast will be provided, while lunch and dinner will be left open for you to explore local cafés and restaurants in Aljezur or enjoy a meal at your own pace.
